Chris Jericho announced for Raw 25th Anniversary

Could Chris Jericho be making his way back to WWE?

Y2J has made some waves after making his departure from the WWE. After a surprise final appearance for the company in July, Jericho started teasing a feud with NJPW US champion Kenny Omega via Twitter.

The two went on to feud in New Japan, marking his return to the promotion after almost twenty years, culminating at Wrestle Kingdom 12 in a match dubbed “Alpha vs Omega.”

After Wrestle Kingdom, Jericho would attack Tetsuya Naito, sparking his next rivalry. With this move, many assumed he wouldn’t be coming back to WWE anytime soon. However, on the January 15th episode of RAW, WWE announced that Jericho would return for the 25th-anniversary episode.

Throughout the night, WWE announced a handful of returning wrestlers and personalities; from Torrie Wilson, Kelly Kelly, and the Bella Twins to the Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla, Chris Jericho.

Jericho appearing on the 25th-anniversary is interesting, to say the least. Is it possible we may see Y2J appear in the Royal Rumble match? We’ll have to wait and see.
