As seen on AEW’s All Out pay-per-view, Chris Jericho and Hangman Adam Page battled each other for the prestigious AEW World Championship. No matter who came out the victor, this match was destined to be historic.
However, after a grueling match that saw both men take each other to their absolute limits, Chris Jericho hit the Judas Effect on Hangman Page and became the first-ever AEW World Champion. The entire match was stacked with near falls and WTF moments that kept the crowd hyped.
Jericho will be the man who’d take the title to TNT when AEW debuts on the network next month. It will be interesting to see how the championship picture in AEW forms over the next few months.
