Chris Jericho Breaks Silence After Hospitalization

The AEW veteran star Chris Jericho was suddenly hospitalized this week while he was on tour with Fozzy in the UK. A Fozzy show was set to take place at Sin City nightclub in Swansea, Wales this Friday. The show was canceled after Jericho was admitted to the hospital. asd

 


 

Chris Jericho was admitted with a non-COVID health issue

The venue broke the news on Instagram and specified that ‘Le Champion’ was dealing with a a non-COVID health issue. They posted the statement received from the band confirming that the wrestling veteran has been admitted for a treatable health issue:

“Chris was checked into Hospital by doctors, with a non-Covid related, treatable health issue. Regrettably the show on Friday in Swansea is cancelled and all tickets will be refunded. Will have updates on Saturdays show in Nottingham and Sunday’s show in London as soon as possible”.

The first ever AEW World Champion has also issued a brief statement on his condition via the Wrestling Observer:

“I’m feeling good. They just wanted to observe me overnight and I’m in the right place. Not COVID related.”

Jericho has not competed inside the squared since the Full Gear pay-per-view. The Inner Circle took on and defeated The American Top Team, Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky at the show. Jericho was last seen on television during the December 1st edition of Dynamite. He was attacked by 2point0 and Daniel Garcia to write him off for the UK tour. He had been active on social media hours before the cancellation of the show. So, it appears that his health issues were a sudden development.
