It’s no secret that Jim Cornette is a huge critic of AEW, not to mention the majority of modern-day wrestling. The legendary manager has never been one to shy away from his strong dislike of Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Orange Cassidy, and many of their other stars.
AEW has fired back, of course, usually with those same wrestlers making fun of his comments on social media while never actually mentioning him by name.
I hope that everyone holds their tag ropes and that there aren’t combination maneuvers. That would totally ruin a sports thingy match. https://t.co/NzqtN0zyX0 pic.twitter.com/6HthMTr9hD

However, AEW’s inaugural World Champion Chris Jericho called Jim Cornette out today. Jericho flat “banned” Corny from watching any and all future episodes of AEW Dynamite and AEW Dark until further notice.
I am officially banning @TheJimCornette from watching any & all future episodes of #AEWDynamite & #AEWDark. He is under @AEWrestling suspension until further notice. Thank you. #DemoGod

Of course, that doesn’t really mean anything in the grand scheme of things, but it’ll definitely bring out a response from Cornette. One has to wonder what the reasoning was behind Jericho’s tweet, though it may have something to do with Cornette retweeting this.

Chris Jericho and Fozzy held a few shows last week in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa.
