We noted before how former World Champion Chris Jericho and the Young Bucks had responded to the reports of WWE moving NXT to TV to compete with AEW.
However, the news had not been made official until then and the company officially confirmed NXT’s move to USA Network through a tweet yesterday morning.
Once the news was made official, the former WCW and WWE Star took on his Twitter and commenting on the matter, he said that runners always run fast when someone is behind them:
Congrats to @WWENXT for making the big move to the @USA_Network! Runners always race faster when somebody is right behind them. Gonna be fun to see which team the world decides to join! #ChooseJericho @AEWrestling @AEWonTNT

Another AEW star in Britt Baker also replied to the story and Baker, who is currently dating the NXT Champion Adam Cole posted a picture with the WWE Star:

While WWE might have moved NXT to compete with AEW, it’s not the only benefit the company will have and as latest reports suggest, they will be making atleast $50 Million a year with the TV deal for the Black and Yellow brand.
