Chris Jericho reveals how a wrestling spot could have killed him

Chris Jericho, the former WWE star recently reminisced the bout he was involved at WWE TLC pay-per-view back in 2009.Apparently it is not a great memory that the former WWE Intercontinental Champion would like to remember.

 


 

At the event, he had teamed up with Big Show known as Jeri-Show and squared off against DX(Triple H and Shawn Michaels) in a Tables,Ladders and Chairs match for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship.

Chris Jericho responds to the spot

A fan had shared a Tweet which features a spot during the match which was very dangerous for Jericho.

He responded to the fan saying:

“I almost died!”

There was a spot where Jericho was on the shoulder of Big Show and Shawn Michaels hit a superkick on him. This caused the giant to lose his balance and dropped Jericho out of the ring.

But, as soon as he fell, his face bounced off the table on the outside and he landed awkwardly which looked very nasty.

Jeri-Show had lost the match and DX were crowned the new Unified WWE Tag Team Champions.

In January 2010, Jeri-Show had faced DX once again on an edition of Monday Night RAW but in a losing effort. As per the stipulation of the match, Jericho had to leave RAW, so Jeri-Show was forced to disband.
