Chris Jericho to fight “Hangman” Adam Page to crown the first ever AEW World Champion

At AEW’s Double or Nothing, Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho took each other to their limits in a hellacious fight for a shot at the AEW World Championship. However, it was the Ayatollah of Rock n’ Rolla who came out on top in an unexpected fashion.

After a hard-fought battle, both Omega and Jericho were basically limping with bloodied and worn out bodies. Jericho finally hit a Judas Effect on Omega for the three counts and a shot at the AEW World Championship.

However, as soon as the match was over, Jericho cut a promo on the fans and the company itself and took credits for AEW’s recent successes for himself. However, what he didn’t know was that he was in for a vicious surprise

Although it has not been announced yet officially, Bret Hart accidentally revealed that the winner of this match will face Page on the “Fight for the Fallen” pay-per-view to become the first ever AEW World Champion. Therefore, Jericho could very well go head to head against Page for the title at the next pay-per-view.
