We noted before that WWE announced Chris Jericho for their upcoming Live Events from Tokyo, Japan on June 30th and July 1st respectively. Now Jericho has been added to one more WWE Event prior to these two appearances.
Chris has been announced to be a part of June 28th Live event in Singapore which will be held at Singapore Indoor Stadium. It’s worth noticing that this event will be a Raw-exclusive event while Jericho is now officially a part of SmackDown roster.
Regarding his opponent, we noted before that he will be squaring off against Hideo Itami at the upcoming events in Japan. While no opponent has been announced yet for his appearance in Singapore, it’s likely that he will face Itami on that show too.
This news is both good and bad for WWE Universe. Since Jericho will not be returning on WWE TV, fans who are not from these areas but want to see him return to WWE will be left disappointed.
However, at the same time, it shows that the former United States Champion is still interested in wrestling and is in good terms with WWE as well, which means the chances of him returning to WWE TV somewhere down the line are very good.
