Ever since the slap heard round the world, comedian and part-time actor Chris Rock has been very vocal about a great many things. In a recent outing, the comedian remarked that if Donald Trump were to be arrested on indictment that the act would only make him more popular.
As per an article published via Yahoo, Chris Rock has warned the world that U.S. lawmakers arresting former President Trump would only make him “more popular.”
Rock made these comments while in Washington, D.C., for a live event honoring fellow comedian/actor, Adam Sandler. Rock began making fun at the well-connected capital crowd, which included former Speaker Nancy Pelosi and members of President Biden’s administration.
“Are you guys really going to arrest Trump?” Rock asked.
“Do you know this is only going to make him more popular. It’s like arresting Tupac. He’s just gonna sell more records. Are you stupid?” he said as the room laughed.
“[Trump] f—ing a porn star and paid off someone so his wife couldn’t find out. That’s romantic,” Rock said.
“We’ve all been cheated on. Don’t you wish that the person that cheated on you paid off somebody so you wouldn’t find out?” he added.
Rock is on a rampage.
