Christian Cage revealed on AEW Dynamite that Jeff Hardy is ready to return to the ring, as The Hardys will face The Young Bucks and Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus next week in a ladder match for the AEW tag team titles.
Former WWE Champion and tag team specialist Jeff Hardy will always remain one of the most loved and talented pro wrestlers in the history of the business. He has competed in numerous promotions throughout his career, including the likes of WWE ROH and TNA Wrestling. Fans are certainly well aware of his history of substance abuse issues and the personal demons he had to face. Jeff Hardy’s AEW debut tease was also revealed.
He is also part of The Hardy Boyz alongside his brother Matt Hardy. The two used to be in different pro wrestling companies but that eventually changed as well as they are now working in AEW together Jeff Hardy won the WWE Championship after defeating Triple H and Edge in a triple threat match at Armageddon 2008.
Jeff Hardy teamed up with his brother Matt and squared off against The Young Bucks at AEW Double Or Nothing. They defeated The Young Bucks as well but Jeff Hardy looked very bad during the match.
During his recent appearance on “Talk Is Jericho,” Jeff Hardy talked about his final days in WWE and made it clear he was not happy.
“I was pretty crushed that day, I was like, ‘Okay, this is it, I don’t know why I am here, they’re really doing this to me. That’s not an arrogant thing to say … I shouldn’t be doing that, but I did it and I was like, ‘Man, what does this mean?’
