Christian Huge WrestleMania 37 Update Revealed

WWE legend Christian made his shocking return at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view back in January of this year. He returned after a seven-year hiatus from in-ring competition and his performance made many believe he did not lose a single step as an active Superstar.

Captain Charisma has not been seen on WWE television since then and he also had not signed a WWE contract. Paul Wight revealed on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite that AEW’s next ‘Hall of Fame worthy’ signing, with Kurt Angle rumors surfacing, will make their debut at the Revolution PPV this Sunday.

Raj Giri of WrestlingInc.com has reported that Christian has now signed a WWE deal, so Christian is back in time to wrestle at WrestleMania and not join AEW.

Following this huge announcement, the pro wrestling fandom almost immediately started wondering as to who the aforementioned pro wrestler might be.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed what AEW might have planned for AEW Revolution. He mentioned the fact that Captain Charisma might be the one who will make his AEW debut at AEW Revolution, contradicting Giri’s report.

“As soon as he said ‘Hall of Fame worthy talent’ the first person I thought about was Christian, and Christian doesn’t have a contract with WWE, so. I mean, I don’t know that’s who it is, but that is a name that popped in my head at that moment.”

We will have to see what happens at AEW Revolution.
