Anthony Anzaldo, who was the manager of the late Joanie Laurer (aka Chyna), noted in an interview with New York Daily News that Chyna’s brain will be given to CTE research.
“We want to donate her brain. We want to know what made Chyna tick,” Anzaldo said.
Dr. Bennet Omalu, who was played by Will Smith in the movie “Concussion,” will be the doctor who does the research on her brain.
“I’ve been told (Dr. Omalu) is calling the medical examiner to let them know the plan, so they’ll be cautious with her brain,” Anzaldo said on Friday. “We’re just looking for (the researchers) to give us everything they can get.”
