CM Punk’s agent reportedly reaches out about WWE hosting gig

CM Punk has said that he will not return to wrestling again but there are many who believe that the former World Champion will return to WWE eventually and a latest report opens up an interesting possibility of the same.

We noted before how WWE plans to air an in-studio news show featuring coverage of various WWE events on F1S every Tuesday once SmackDown Live moves to Fox.

And according to reports from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Creative Artists Agency or CAA, which is an agency representing both Punk and WWE has reached out to Fox officials about the former Champion possibly serving as the co-host of the show.

This deal could work because if an agreement is reached then the former WWE Star would be working for Fox Network and not his former employers.

Though it’s worth mentioning here that the talks about Punk working the show have been brought up by his agents and it’s not something the wrestling star clearly wanted.

There is no word yet on if WWE is aware of this update and it would be interesting to see how the company reacts to the news especially considering the rise of AEW.
