CM Punk ‘Buries’ Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania

Former WWE Superstar CM Punk has not been seen on WWE television since the 2014 edition of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. He walked out on the company the next day and has not looked back since then. Following his WWE exit, many fans have been wanting to see Punk make his return to the company every year. He has yet to make his return to the squared circle and at this point in time, it seems very unlikely. He also sent a bold message to Hulk Hogan recently.

CM Punk recently spoke to Robbie Fox on My Mom’s Basement, where he talked about his WrestleMania 28 match against The Undertaker. He proclaimed it to be the real name event of the event instead of John Cena vs The Rock and that people should have packed up and left after that, and he sounded very angry. Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar went on immediately after.

“Given all the circumstances leading up to it and everything that happened after it, that’s the most defining punk rock moment of my entire career. I didn’t care about anything. I was a man possessed and I simultaneously didn’t give a f**k and cared way too much at the same time. I went out there and f**king absolutely destroyed it. They couldn’t follow me, no matter what they said. People, to this day, will be like, ‘You never main evented WrestleMania.’ Yes, I did. It was that one. You should’ve packed it up and f**king went home after that.”
