CM Punk Exposes Hulk Hogan As Fraud

AEW star CM Punk recently appeared on the Rasslin with Brandon F. Walker podcast and commented on the biggest draws in wrestling history, WWE Hall of Famer, Hulk Hogan. He had some strong words on the Hulkster. WWE Star Leaks Shawn Michaels Text Messages

CM Punk opens up on Hulk Hogan:

“Hulk Hogan is a bigger star than Steve Austin but then you look at business periods and eras and box office receipts and all that other stuff. I think Hogan’s a piece of shit so obviously, I’m gonna be like Steve Austin, yay. But that’s another podcast.”

One of the fans took a shot at Punk on Twitter,  stating that he copies Hogan’s match styles. He did not hold back and replied the fan saying:

“Brother, just tune in tonight. Just got off the phone with Arthur Ashe and he’s excited to host us tonight. Gonna party with Belushi in nyc after I slam Baba. Hope I don’t tear anything in my back. Metallica.”

Punk also talked about why he chose AEW over WWE:

“I had the option and I went, ’It’s the devil you know against maybe the devil you don’t know. I know what I’m getting if I go work for Vince. I know who he is. I know what he is. It’s not going to change. I didn’t have fun, necessarily last time I was there. I had no reason to believe it was ever going to change. I looked at what I would be doing. I’ve done it all. Who did I wrestle on that side of the fence? On the AEW side of things, I’m like a kid at Christmas. A kid like Dante Martin, I watched him and the stuff he can do. I feel like I’m watching a 1995 Nitro where it has a different feel to it. It feels gritty. It feels rough around the edges, and oh, by the way, here’s two Luchadores who had a layover in Tijuana. They’re exhausted, they go out there, and they have a 6-minute match, but they put on such a show, and they pack so much in 6 minutes and have it make sense. I’m an artist and I’m looking and I go, ‘Oh, I’ve never painted with that brush before. I can’t wait to get a hold of that brush.”
