CM Punk was not to be seen on AEW Rampage this week while the show was on TV. This made many fans pretty mad as they tuned in solely for CM Punk as he is the hottest star in all of professional wrestling right now. Fans were very disappointed to only have a video package of Punk shown to hype up his match with Darby Allin at All Out….
Reddit spoke on this a bit as fans were nicer than usual on the boards as they were just happy to see the matchup get some hype and to even catch a pre-recorded glimpse of Punk.
One user on the Reddit boards stated: “This is gonna be a great comeback match because either Punk is in shape and he and Darby go HAM or Darby goes HAM and Punk likely looks like a million bucks. I dont think he could pick a better comeback. I’m very excited. I missed Punk’s career so this is my first Punk feud.”
After the show, CM Punk was seen with Frankie Kazarian and Christian Cage as Frankie and Christian stated how happy they were to have Punk there. Punk looked to be in amazing shape and really worked the crowd as he also stated that his novelty will eventually fade, but he would soak up all he could until then. Sadly, Punk was not shown on TV as stated above, but this sent the live crowd home happy.
My personal prediction is that we see Daniel Bryan debut at All Out as he jumps into the CM Punk, Darby Allin, and Sting match. Of course, I see Bryan helping out CM Punk in that match. If I’m correct, you heard it here first.
