CM Punk Gets Big Win After Drug Test Leaks

CM Punk’s UFC run was fun to see but it certainly didn’t show from a results perspective as he lost his debut fight at UFC 203 in the first round to welterweight Mickey Gall via a rear naked choke. He would then go to lose his second match at UFC 225 to Mike Jackson in an unanimous decision. CM Punk was ‘erased’ from WWE history in this recent video.

However, in a bit of a redemption story, it is now being reported that due to the fact that Jackson tested for marijuana, Jackson’s victory was overturned. The result for CM Punk’s second fight now currently sits as a ‘no contest’ in the record books.

Since 2018, CM Punk has been signed to the Cage Fury Fighting Championships, which is a UFC affiliate as a commentator.

On social media via Twitter members of the WWE Universe as well as UFC fight fans discussed this development with one Twitter user named @ZeroAyres saying: “Wait because Mike Jackson smoked some Mary Jane his 2018 win over CM Punk in UFC is now a no contest. Maybe the guy should have been like Punk and be straight edge lol”. Meanwhile, @Mig121788 stated in a tweet directed to Punk: “I didn’t just win because I announced, on July 7th, Mike Jackson tested positive for marijuana. I didn’t just win because of this little nugget…and I’d like to think that the UFC will be better after Dana White makes pot LEGAL LEGAL LEGAL!!”
