CM Punk Makes Huge Wrestling Announcement

The former WWE star CM Punk has reportedly expressed his desire to make his much-awaited return to pro wrestling. He was last seen inside the ring back in 2014 when he worked for WWE. It is being reported that AEW is likely to be his destination upon his return to the squared circle. Ringside News even just reported that Punk signed his AEW contract today, “Punk signed on this morning!” Ringside News was told “Punk will be on TV nearly every week.”

Though it has not been officially confirmed if Tony Khan’s company will be the place for him, but AEW’s is being highly talked about.

 

CM Punk to debut at All Out PPV?

It is noted how close his contract is from being completed. It has not been officially confirmed by the company that Punk will be at All Out on September 5th.

It is speculated that the show being scheduled for his hometown, he could be making his debut at that show. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that tickets on the secondary market peaked for All Out, and now the “get in” price is $141, an 18% increase.

“Regarding the secondary market right now, there are only two shows that are what we’d call hot tickets. All Out on 9/5 in Chicago has a $141 get-in price, so the C.M. Punk rumors have upped ticket prices about 18 percent across the board.”

It was also reported that AEW’s September 8th show in Cincinnati has a $118 “get in price.” It is Jon Moxley’s hometown and the first time AEW will come to the city.

It was also noted that the “get in” price for the Arthur Ashe Stadium show is only $43, despite the report of Daniel Bryan’s debut. That show also has over 17,000 tickets and all of the good seats sold out almost instantly.
