There have been multiple reports recently that the former WWE star CM Punk is set to make his in-ring return. It was back in 2014 when he had last competed inside the squared circle. It was previously noted, by Fightful Select, that AEW is he most likely to be the destination for Punk.
CM Punk is AEW bound
Ringside News now confirmed that talks are legit and it is pretty much a “done deal.” A source has confirmed to them that CM Punk’s arrangement to work for AEW is “a done deal right now.” At this point they are “waiting until they are in person to sign the contract.”
When will Punk make his debut has not been confirmed yet but AEW will try to arrange the debut of Second City Savior at All Out in Chicago if they can. AEW is trying hard to make another gigantic signing with Punk. WWE Spoilers For Entire Show Next Week Leak
