CM Punk on not having to deal with WWE schedule anymore

CM Punk was signed to WWE for almost 9 years and the brutal travel schedule of the company is believed to be one of the reasons which led to his infamous departure from the promotion.

 


 

Both Punk and another former WWE World Champion Jack Swagger appeared on the Sauce & Shram show on Stadium Today recently and they talked about a number of things.

Commenting on being free from the pressure of the wrestling touring schedule, Punk admitted that he loves being able to train and then going home to sleep in his own bed every night:

I love being able to train and then go home, If I’m dinged up, well, I’m in my own bed every night. It’s not like waking up at 5:30 every morning, you’re afraid you’re going to miss your flight and there’s a connection, and if you miss the connection then you’re not going to be able to get home. I can appreciate not wanting to do that anymore.

Swagger also discussed the same and said that after having your body beat down in certain ways and cramming into airlines, it’s nice to be at home and be around his family. You can check out both the star’s comments in the video below:
