Fans usually stay excited for Royal Rumble and this year is no different. WWE often has surprises for the fans with the shocking returns of former stars and also the legends and Hall of Famers. Many huge stars have been already announced for the event and a handful of stars from the past are set to make their return at the show on January 29.
Aksana could return to WWE
The former WWE star Aksana is set to return at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view and her name hasn’t been seen on WWE TV in almost 8 years. Previously it was noted that Ronda Rousey has been also slated to make her huge return during the show.

PWInsider reports that Aksana has been spotted in St. Louis and she is set to appear in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
In her final feuds in WWE, she was involved in a storyline where she was revealed to be Kaitlyn’s mystery attacker who was acting on Eve Torres’ orders. She was released from her contract in June of 2014 after losing a match to Alicia Fox on SmackDown.
WWE has already announced 18 participants, and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair declared herself an entrant to make it 19.
In her segment on SmackDown, Charlotte Flair gave a preview of the Women’s Royal Rumble, where it was revealed that seven stars of the past would return – including Lita, Summer Rae, The Bella Twins, Michelle McCool, Kelly Kelly, and Mickie James. This will be the fifth installment of the Women’s Royal Rumble match. We will have to see which stars make their way back to the company.
The WWE Royal Rumble 2022 will air live on Saturday, January 29, 2021. The show will start at 7 p.m. EST. The event will take place at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri. As is tradition, the event will feature the annual men’s and women’s Royal Rumble match, with both matches each featuring special guest entrants.
