AEW has been very active as they are making some huge signings including the likes of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, who are almost confirmed to land in the promotion. Ric Flair could join CM Punk and Daniel Bryan at AEW
Daniel Bryan is also slated to make his debut in AEW soon but still nothing has been teased or confirmed. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a third major signing for AEW is on the way but it has not been mentioned who it would be. This could be two-time WWE Hall of Famer and WCW icon Ric Flair, but you also never know what to expect in the pro wrestling world nowadays.
“It’s still possible an agreement for a release would include a time frame before Ric Flair could go to AEW, but wouldn’t apply to Mexico and AAA. But sources close to the promotion that would be alerted to such things also noted a new major AEW acquisition is coming on the heels of the deals for C.M. Punk and Bryan Danielson”
Flair recently was in the corner of his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo, when he took to AAA Mega Champion Kenny Omega at AAA TripleMania.
