CM Punk to be in Chicago during ‘All In’ weekend

The Straight Edge Superstar hasn’t been involved in a wrestling event since leaving the WWE in 2014. Since then, CM Punk has set his eyes on an MMA career and occasionally working on comics for Marvel. However, it seems that the Second City Saint will be in Chicago during the All In event, prompting rumors about a possible appearance.

Punk will be in Chicago for a meet and greet at the Pro Wrestling Tees retail store in Chicago on August 31. All In takes place on September 1, so it’s possible that Punk may show up for Cody Rhodes’ event. The official All In Twitter account also retweeted the announcement, further stoking the flames.

Do you think CM Punk will show up at the All In event? Would you like to see him there? Let us know in the comments.

Of course, they’re going to announce the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega as the “Main event” of the signing session next week, meaning Punk’s going to no-show, and retire from signing things.

Well he is a Chicago native and Pro Wrestling Tees would certainly time the signing at the same time as the event to take advantage of the extra influx of wrestling fans, but I cannot help but think that if he is appearing at the show, they would be advertising it. This show is all about a challenge that they can sell out the arena, and if you want to do that, especially in Chicago, you announce one the most elusive names in wrestling. You could bet the moment they announce him, ticket sales would sky rocket.
