WWE Superstar CM Punk will never stop being popular with the WWE Universe even after all these years. The former WWE Champion walked out of the company and pro-wrestling, in general, five years ago but he is still an extremely relevant entity in the business.
During last night’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view, Shane McMahon received quite the beating from the Undertaker and Roman Reigns. However, what Shane wouldn’t have seen coming was an unexpected jab from none other than CM Punk.
When a fan tweeted out a picture of a beat down Shane McMahon lying in the ring, Punk took shots at him and implied that McMahon looked like a fan. Although Punk quickly deleted this tweet, a few fans were able to get a screenshot and also reposted it through their handles.
