Former WWE Superstar CM Punk has not been seen on WWE television since the 2014 edition of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. He walked out on the company the next day and has not looked back since then. Following his WWE exit, many fans have been wanting to see Punk make his return to the company every year. He has yet to make his return to the squared circle and at this point in time, it seems very unlikely. CM Punk was also recently banned from a major pro wrestling event.
Last week, CM Punk took a shot at WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon in a response to a post that was shared by Charlotte Flair. Flair posted a photo of herself on Twitter and asked fans to caption it. Punk saw the tweet and said the following:
“GODDAMNIT PAL WATCH THE MONITORS AND STOP SAYING WRESTLING PAL.”
Charlotte Flair recently spoke to the Hindustan Times, where she addressed CM Punk’s joke. Charlotte Flair revealed no one ever screamed at her while she was part of the WWE commentary team.
“No one is buzzing me in my ear. I have known Byron Saxton and Corey Graves for a very long time. It was just great to be out there with them, feeling as confident as ever. No, Vince doesn’t buzz me in my ear about anything.”
