Cody Rhodes and Charlotte Flair are two of the biggest names in WWE and fans are eagerly waiting for them to return.
Rhodes had defeated Seth Rollins for the third time since making a shocking return to WWE at WrestleMania 38. Rhodes picked up a huge win over Rollins inside the Hell In A Cell at the namesake Premium Live event. It was previously speculated that he might not be a part of the show as it was announced that he suffered an injury. He also cut an emotional promo following the victory. A positive update has now emerged on him.
Cody Rhodes is recovering well
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has given a positive update on Rhodes’ recovery, saying he is doing well and is expected to return sooner than he was initially supposed to:
”Rhodes appears to be a little ahead of schedule in healing. He’s working with DDP. Things are normal for him in real life but obviously any upper body weights he can use are extremely light. There’s no firm date for a return this early, and even when there is, I would expect it’ll be kept quiet for a surprise pop. Originally the idea of Rumble looked good. Perhaps Day 1 since it’s in Atlanta and he grew up and still lives there.”
Charlotte Flair might return soon
Meanwhile, Charlotte Flair has been away from WWE programming since she lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash in May this year. ‘The Queen’ is likely to make her return soon. As per the latest reports in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion might be back ‘soon.’
“Charlotte Flair is scheduled to return to WWE soon.”
