Cardona, the former Ryder stated how a WWE release is not necessarily the end of the road for a wrestler’s career. Cardona was let go by WWE on April 15, 2020 and Ryder as part of budget cuts stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. He would end up in Impact Wrestling in January 2021 during their ‘Hard to Kill’ pay-per-view event. Cardona stated the following via Twitter: “I was literally making a post about how this past year has been a blessing in disguise as the news of these releases broke. You will all be fine. Work your ass off. Create your own opportunities. I love you @ImChelseaGreen. You are a fucking star.”

In other news regarding Cody Rhodes, the top AEW star recently did a Q&A with fans in which he was asked what his favorite match that he has been was. While he stated that at this moment he would probably say NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship bout against Nick Aldis at All In in 2018 his true ‘favorite’ match hasn’t happened yet as Rhodes proclaimed: “That changes a lot, but today…Probably ALL IN – never heard a building that loud, and to me…noise is the job. I liked the original Darby match as well, also Kenny from Supercard, Legacy V DX, big spot in my heart for the Shaq encounter. My true favorite has yet to happen.”
