WWE released as many as six stars on Wednesday. Cody Rhodes who is the AEW Executive Vice President took note of it and liked the Tweets of the stars who who confirmed the news of their release on Twitter.
Few of the names in the list came up as a surprise which included stars like Braun Strowman, Aleister Black and Lana. It was previously reported that some of them had asked for their release.
Cody Rhodes reacted to the following Tweets:
Braun Strowman wrote:

Lana said:
“I will never forget the fans, and the love they showed me. Whether it was a tank, power-suits, flags, CRUSH, Rusev, 900 partners, weddings or tables: I tried to always entertain you, and you definitely elevated me. Thank you.”
Aleister Black said:
“Always felt me and Claudio, as Europeans, had something to prove. We never spared each other because we wanted to make sure we did the Regals, Finlays and Brooksides that came before us proud. Great memories. Cesaro is one of my favorite opponents.”
He also reacted to the Tweet of Darius Martin, who is a AEW star. Martin said:
“I haven’t scratched the surface of what I have to offer.
Not even close.”
It seems Rhodes is keeping a closer look on the released stars and who knows they might even end up getting an offer from AEW.
