AEW introduced the TNT Championship at AEW Double Or Nothing. Mike Tyson was there at the event to present the title to the inaugural champion. The title was unveiled before the match and Tony Schiavone explained that the TNT Title design is not completed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Cody Rhodes squared off against Lance Archer in the finals of the TNT Championship tournament. The match was a very intense and physical affair. Arn Anderson was ejected from ringside and then Jake Roberts left. However, he returned with a snake. Seeing this, Mike Tyson squared off Roberts which stopped him in his tracks.
The final moments of the match saw Cody Rhodes hitting two Crossroads for the pinfall. Rhodes became the first-ever TNT Champion at Double Or Nothing.
It will be interesting to see how they book his title run.
