Cody Rhodes Makes Sad Health Announcement

This week’s Saturday Night’s Main Event saw Cody Rhodes come out and make a huge announcement.

‘The American Nightmare’ was present at the house show on Saturday that took place in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. He came out during the start of the show to reveal that he’s medically uncleared to compete.

Afterward, Cody Rhodes was attacked by Imperium, with Sami Zayn and Matt Riddle making the save. A six-man tag team match was set up for the main event, where the babyfaces picked up the win.

A couple of weeks back, Brock Lesnar came out as the mystery partner of Cody Rhodes at the start of WWE RAW in what many assumed would be the main event match against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. However, that match never even started.

Before the match could even start, the fans were left shocked with the developments. Cody Rhodes was ready to face Reigns but was not prepared when Lesnar suddenly hit him with the F5. This was followed by another as the beatdown continued. He threw Rhodes out and beat him up there, destroying him in the ringside area. He even put him through the commentary table with another F5.

However, just as the personnel started to treat him, Brock Lesnar then turned back yet again, throwing his gloves off as he was about to rush to the WWE ring. He then got a signal from an official and stayed away, realizing that the time for the show had run out. Instead, he cursed into the camera and flipped off the camera, and then quickly turned it toward Cody Rhodes.

‘The Beast Incarnate’ will be on next week’s show, as WWE has already advertised. The Beast Incarnate will answer Cody Rhodes’ Backlash challenge.

It was reported that the Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes match is taking place at Backlash as a promotional deal with Puerto Rico. The event will serve as a promotion for the area, and even more marquee matches are expected to be announced.

WWE Backlash is set to take place on May 6 at Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
