AEW star MJF has been teasing a potential-jump to WWE in 2023 upon his contract expiry in AEW. He recently joined “Barstool Rasslin’s” podcast to talk about if he would want to wrestle the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns if he ever goes to WWE.
MJF is willing to face Roman Reigns
Here is what MJF said:
“I would imagine. I think me and him would have a tremendous match. I think it would be a friendly competition. I would also love to wrestle Seth Rollins. I would love to wrestle The Miz.”
He also spoke about the former AEW star Cody Rhodes and he revealed how ‘The American Nightmare’ had texted MJF’s parents to offer them tickets for SmackDown in Long Island.
“We still talk sometimes to this day. Cody Rhodes is a sweetheart. He texted my parents and offered them tickets for the Long Island show for SmackDown. They couldn’t go. They were busy, but I mean, it was very sweet of him to do. Have you seen his baby? What a cute baby.”
MJF’s contract with AEW is set to expire in 2024 and the three-time Dynamite Diamond Ring winner had previously made it clear that he’s open to jump ship, provided WWE rolls out more money than Tony Khan could possibly match.
“And if Vincent Kennedy McMahon is willing to shell out more money than my good friend Tony Khan, then yes, I would go to WWE,” MJF said at the For The Love Of Wrestling convention late last month in Liverpool, England.
Wardlow will go one-on-one against MJF at Double Or Nothing later this month on May 29, 2022, at the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada.
