All Elite Wrestling keeps a close eye on the independent circuit. Cody Rhodes took part in a Q&A at E2C2, where he mentioned a few wrestlers that AEW is interested in.
According to a report by Wrestling Inc, Cody Rhodes was asked which wrestlers AEW had an interest in, from the independent circuit. He mentioned three wrestlers who might become very popular with fans.
Fan Question: Who on the indies they want in AEW?
Cody: Says he has to ask Ethan Page about Danhausen and says both those guys are DIY guys he wants. Notes Ethan is with Impact and he wanted him. Says he’ll look at War Horse soon.
Ethan Page is one half of the Impact Tag Team Champions. War Horse and Danhausen are not affiliated with any wrestling promotion, but they have been keeping themselves busy owing to their DIY styles.
We will have to see whether any of them sign with AEW in the future.
