Cody Rhodes on AEW using former WWE talent

AEW held another episode of Dynamite this week. There was no crowd in attendance due to the COVID-19 outbreak, but they put on a memorable show. Both Matt Hardy and Brodie Lee made their AEW debut on the episode. Cody certainly has an opinion regarding this.

Some fans took to Twitter and criticized AEW for signing too many former WWE Superstars. Cody Rhodes decided to respond to such a tweet, where he defended the signing of Hardy and Lee.

Talent is talent. Merit based company. We have a great roster from all types of places(mainly blossoming independent stars). It’s a great balance.

Another person tried to call the company out on not having a diverse enough roster of wrestlers. Cody took it upon himself to answer the person and prove him wrong.

Darby, Luchasauras, Orange, Britt, Jungle, Private Party, etc etc

More unknown then known. Fresh is the term we like. Nice balance. Fresh approach.

AEW has a varied roster of talents and they surely have huge plans in store. With the outbreak getting worse, we will have to see if they will hold Dynamite next week.
