Cody Rhodes reveals when finished version of TNT title will debut in AEW

The finalized version of the TNT Championship will be debuting in AEW in a couple of weeks.

As noted, the TNT Championship that Cody Rhodes has been defending in AEW is an incomplete version of the title belt due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The reaction to the title belt from the fans when it was debuted at AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 back in May was less than enthusiastic, until AEW President Tony Khan informed the fan base that the title was not yet finished and the one Cody is carrying around is a temporary version of the belt.

During a recent visit to his official Twitter page, “The American Nightmare” responded to a fan who asked when the real version of the TNT Championship will be finalized.

“August 12th,” responded the reigning TNT Champion, before adding some details to build the anticipation of the eventual unveiling of the final version.

“[I] saw a nice video of the plates,” added ‘The American Nightmare.’ “Very elegant.”
