Colt Cabana Competing At The June 12th Ring Of Honor Event

ROH issued the following:

On Sunday June 12, Ring of Honor returns to the Turner Hall Ballroom as Ring of Honor’s Road to Best in the World rolls on! In Wisconsin, the stars of Ring of Honor look to pick up key victories and establish momentum heading into one of the year’s biggest events. ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness is giving the fans one of the most requested matches in Ring of Honor history!

Colt Cabana had shocked the world at Supercard of Honor X in Dallas when he returned to ROH after a five-year absence and rolled up ROH World Champion Jay Lethal in an impromptu non-title match! Because of the victory, McGuinness granted Cabana a ROH World Championship match in his hometown of Chicago. Cabana locked Lethal in the Billy Goat’s Curse at Global Wars before Taeler Hendrix pulled referee Todd Sinclair from the ring. That was the tip of the iceberg of all hell breaking loose.

From there, the Young Bucks super kicked Sinclair. The lights went out and the Bucks delivered on a promise they made on Twitter earlier that night: Bullet Club had a new member and it was Adam Cole.

The Bucks, Cole, and the Guerrillas of Destiny destroyed Cabana, Lethal, ROH security, referees, cameramen, and more as Global Wars went off the air, leaving the main event a no contest and Honor Nation with more questions than answers.

Cabana returned to ROH with one quest: capture the ROH World Championship. Now, with that dream in his back pocket, he has committed himself to ridding ROH of Bullet Club, whom he believes stole the ROH World Championship from his finger tips. And he’s going right to the head of the problem – former ROH World Champion Adam Cole.

Cole has repeatedly stated that he and Bullet Club believe he is the true number one contender to the ROH World Championship and has insinuated that Cabana did not deserve the shot he received at Global Wars. Feeling overlooked, Cole and Bullet Club have wreaked havoc on ROH since coming together and Cabana may want to have reinforcements on standby should Bullet Club get involved!

Outside of those concerns, both men rank at or near the top of ROH singles’ stars and both men feel they are the true number one contenders to the ROH World Championship. A victory would go a long way to convincing ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness that either is the true top challenger!

There is nothing like the fast-paced, hard-hitting action that only ROH can deliver! Be sure to be there LIVE in Milwaukee when the Best Wrestling on the Planet returns! Previous stops on the Road to Best in the World Tour have sold out – don’t wait, order your tickets now!
