The UFC star Conor McGregor recently made some bold claims on the former star Khabib Nurmagomedov. Though, the Russian star had an unblemished record in UFC, The Notorious One had some harsh words foe him. He also went on to say that Khabib used steroids. Conor McGregor comments on Khabib Nurmagomedov
McGregor recently had an interview with ESPN. He was asked about Khabib and he made a bold claim about the Russian fighter. The Irishman said:
“He’s gone, shit his jocks, became fat, roiding off, he’s done nothing in this sport. F**k all he’s done in this sport.He was fighting guys with 3 wins and 6 losses. His father was running the show.”
During another recent interview with BT Sport, McGregor had said something similar about him. He also accused him of running away from the sport.
According to him, Khabib did not contribute much to the sport and only had three major wins.
He said:
“I don’t really give a f**k about that guy, to be honest with you. I mean, he ran, he’s gone. What did he do? He didn’t do f**k all in the sport, in my opinion. Three wins on the trot before that he pulled out and everything. Had a little run and dipped out, showed his true character. It’s not like I wasn’t surprised, he scurried away like the little rat that he is. So I’m not even concerned.”
At UFC 229, McGregor had failed to defeat Khabib. The former two-division UFC champion failed to capture the UFC lightweight title from ‘The Eagle’ and was defated via submission.
McGregor is now set to face Dustin Poirier in a trilogy fight at this weekend’s UFC 264 pay-per-view.
