UFC megastar Conor McGregor recently blasted Anthony Smith. ‘Lionheart’ recently questioned why McGregor would remove himself from the USADA testing pool if he wasn’t taking any form of steroids. According to Smith, the timeframe that ‘Notorious’ needed to recover from his severe leg break last year is also suspicious.
McGregor was entailed in controversy after reports emerged that he hasn’t been tested by USADA this year. After some fans pointed it out a few weeks ago, MMA journalist Aaron Bronsteter reported in detail on the matter. USADA provided a somewhat unclear statement addressing the matter that said “the UFC may grant an exemption” to the rule that compels athletes to remain active in the testing pool for six months before competing.

McGregor has caught the attention of fans for putting on size since his injury and even has flaunted it, which Smith finds dodgy.
Conor McGregor fires back at Anthony Smith
The UFC star has responded to Anthony Smith’s claims, calling him (and many others) a “rat” who doubts him as a clean fighter:
“This rat spoke to weidman who’d the same horrific injury and is having severe complications still, is bothered that I was able to heal/return to a normal way of life. He, like many other rats in my game, would be happier if I wasn’t able to play with my children the same again.”
