McGregor has been involved in a fierce rivalry with Dustin Poirier and they fought in the main event of UFC 264. The finish to the match saw shocking scenes as The Irishman suffered a broken ankle at the end of the first round and ‘The Diamond’ was declared the winner via TKO after the fight ended due to the doctor’s stoppage.

While speaking to Shane Gillis, Joe Rogan talked about Conor McGregor’s rivalry with Nate Diaz and ‘guaranteed’ that McGregor will be fighting Nate Diaz next, in their third fight.
“That’s next, the third one’s next, I guarantee you. That’s it, that’s the fight. If Nate Diaz had fights with no time limit, he’d win them all. He hurts Leon Edwards and points out, it’s like, ‘Yeah, I got you.”
We will have to see if the fight takes place upon McGregor’s return to the octagon.
