UFC’s Conor McGregor is one of the biggest athletes in the world today. Recent rumors on the internet suggested that McGregor could be talking to Stephanie McMahon about a potential WWE debut.
However, it seems like these rumors might not exactly be false.
At WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch defeated Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair to become the first woman to hold both RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championships.
After the event, McGregor sent out his congratulations to Lynch through his Twitter. Both McGregor and Lynch are Irish and have interacted on Twitter before.
However, at the end of his tweet, Conor name dropped Stephanie McMahon and sent out a huge tease regarding a potential debut in the WWE.
Congrats to Irelands Becky Lynch, the WWE’s first Champ Champ.
Wow!
What a match these ladies put on! Ronda Rousey is something special in that ring, as is Charlotte Flair of the Flair dynasty!
Stephanie McMahon you are right, I could not do what these athletes do.
Or could I…— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) April 8, 2019
Could we see McGregor stepping into the squared circle anytime soon? By the looks of it, it might actually be a strong possibility.
