Conor McGregor has had the quite the road to recovery already after his shocking loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 where McGregor broke his leg and the match had to be stopped in first round, awarding the fight to Poirier.
Conor McGregor’s sister recently leaked this surprising drug photo. In a new update, McGregor can be seen rehabbing his injury in a new photo, complete with bruising around the leg and ankle with another sports icon who is also on his road to recovery – star outfielder for the Atlanta Braves, Ronald Acuña Jr. Acuña Jr recently tore his ACL before Major League Baseball’s all-star break in a game against the Miami Marlins. In other news regarding Conor McGregor, the fact that McGregor was interviewed by Joe Rogan after UFC 264 was a suspect one. However, during a recent edition of his ever-popular podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan explained why he sat down next to ‘Mystic Mac’ to get his post-fight comments. “People are like, ‘Why did you interview him?’ He actually brought me over,” Rogan said. “He goes, ‘Come over here lad, let’s have a podcast.’ He said, ‘Come on Joe, let’s have a f-cking podcast.’ He, like, asked me to sit down next to him. I was like, ‘How am I going to do this? I feel like I should just get something out of him.’
Rogan continued: “Even if you recognize the fact that he is emotionally charged up, this is just him expressing himself while he was emotionally charged up.”
