UFC Star Ronda Rousey turned a lot of heads when she made her surprise WWE debut during the latest Royal Rumble PPV this past Sunday Night.
Conor McGregor talked about Rousey’s recent sign-up with the WWE during a recent interview with street reporters when he was in New York for a charity event.
When asked about his opinion on Ronda’s decision, Conor said that he’s very happy for the female star. He said that she’s been a fan of WWE and it’s good to see her happy and have fun there:
I’m delighted for her, absolutely over the moon for her!” He continued, “She looked like she really enjoyed herself at the event and I was very, very happy to see her.”
“She’s a pioneer for the game,” McGregor told the reporters, “She’s came through it all and faced big wins and big, big losses and she came through it and it’s great to see her represent herself and mixed martial arts and have fun in the WWE. I know she’s been a big fan of it all through her life, so it’s great to see that.”
