Conor McGregor’s sister took to Instagram and uploaded a revealing photo of herself.
Conor McGregor has revealed that Donald Cerrone did indeed suffer broken bones in their UFC 246 welterweight match-up in January 2020. McGregor stopped Cerrone in just 40 seconds of the first round with a head kick and punches. Along the way, he also used shoulder strikes in the clinch to soften Cerrone up. After the fight, it was believed that Cerrone had broken both his nose and orbital bone, but he later revealed that he had not sustained any broken bones. ‘
However, responding to a fan’s tweet, McGregor claimed that his shoulder strikes broke Cerrone’s nose with the first strike and his orbital bone with the second and third strikes. McGregor’s victory over Cerrone remains his only Octagon victory in almost seven years. Since then, he has suffered back-to-back losses against Dustin Poirier, with the second loss leaving him with a broken leg. McGregor has not yet entered the USADA testing pool for his scheduled showdown with Michael Chandler, which means fans will have to wait at least six months before seeing him back in the Octagon.
Listen to the sound of the breaks. The first one breaks the nose, then the following two break the orbital socket. https://t.co/ZDCdKkhJPD
