Corey Graves gives his take on Charlotte Flair’s booking in WWE

Charlotte WWE

Former 10-time Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair seems to be stuck in a rut as of late on RAW. While The Queen is feuding with the Women’s Tag Team Champions – The Kabuki Warriors – the feud isn’t quite able to engage the fans in a manner WWE would have wanted.

Flair faced off against Asuka and Kairi Sane in a spectacular handicap match this past week, but unfortunately, could not manage to best the numbers game. While speaking on his podcast After the Bell, Corey Graves gave his take on Charlotte Flair’s booking in WWE as of now and stated that he isn’t ‘feeling it.’

Charlotte Flair has never felt less important than she does right now. This whole tag team thing with Charlotte finding a different partner week after week. It just doesn’t click. I am not feeling it and it looks to me that Charlotte is not feeling it.

Charlotte Flair carried the main event of WrestleMania this year because she is a pro. She is highly talented and when she is motivated, dare I say untouchable. I miss the queen, my queen.

He also stated that he prefered the villainous version of Charlotte Flair and wanted his Queen back.

Carried the main event? That match sucked because of HER involvement. charlotte shouldn’t feel important because she isn’t. It should never be the case that someone is champ only because charlotte hasn’t challenged for the title yet. Every other title holder shouldn’t be charlotte. Not all roads should lead to charlotte. For example, let’s say that Becky beats charlotte for the title and then Sasha beats Becky for the title. If you want to do Sasha vs charlotte for the title right away, that’s fine, but then charlotte loses. If you don’t want to do that match right away, that’s fine, too. But when you do Sasha vs charlotte, charlotte should lose otherwise it makes Sasha look like a placeholder.
