Corey Graves accidentally name drops Sasha Banks

WWE RAW color commentator Corey Graves was fulfilling his commentary duties while the WWE divas worked the Ladder match. Graves suddenly said “Sasha” in the middle of the match, and then corrected himself to say “Shotzi.” This was an obvious botch, and the former NXT star had to correct himself. Graves’ slip-of-tongue was hardly noticeable in real time. However, several fans still managed to notice it.

Sasha Banks has not been mentioned on WWE programming. The former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks was released as per the WrestlingInc and Raj Giri. New reports have emerged that noted her presence on the WWE’s internal roster. WrestleVotes stated that Sasha Banks has indeed been released from her WWE contract. However, PWInsider noted that she is seemingly with WWE.

Sasha Banks and Naomi had walked out of Monday Night RAW due to creative differences. There have been various sides to the story already reported, including that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions confronted WWE Chairman Vince McMahon over their issue. WWE left that part out of their official narrative, but Banks and Naomi did have words with the boss. In the official statement from the company, it was noted that Sasha Banks and Naomi dropped their tag titles on the desk of John Laurinaitis and left the building.
