Could Jason Jordan be moving towards a backstage role in the WWE?

Jason Jordan has been out of action for some time after he underwent neck surgery back in February. While he was initially cleared to return to the ring a few weeks ago, something changed, and now Jordan won’t be returning anytime soon, per The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

WON has also reported that Jordan has been shadowing WWE producers backstage lately, and could be getting ready to make the move from WWE Superstar to backstage hand.

Matt Hardy has also been in the same boat, after learning of his lower back and pelvis fusing, so Hardy and Jordan could both find themselves behind the camera in the near future.

If Jason Jordan’s injury is so severe that they’re already looking for a backstage role to place him in, that is some tragic news. At only 29 years of age and with a promising career ahead of him, it would be a shame to see him have to retire so early.
