Could Matt Hardy’s appearance on RAW be his final in WWE?

Matt Hardy appeared on RAW this week to confront Randy Orton about his actions against Edge a few weeks ago. Hardy cut a passionate promo about his storied history with the Rated R Superstar and all that they’ve achieved together.

Hardy demanded an answer from Orton only to be made with an attempted RKO that he successfully evaded. However, after a short offensive back and forth, Orton nailed Hardy with an RKO.

Then Orton delivered a vicious con-chair-to on Hardy in the same way he did to Edge.

We previously reported that Hardy’s contract is coming up on the 1st of March and he’s currently in discussions with the company about a possible new contract.

Matt Hardy took to his Twitter after his appearance on RAW and posted a very cryptic tweet. The caption read “GOODBYE” with a photo of Hardy’s RAW segment and the latest episode of his “Free the Delete” YouTube series.

The latest episode of Hardy’s YouTube series features footages from his feud against Bray Wyatt and surprisingly, clips from The Hardy Boyz vs The Young Bucks in RoH.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful and Ryan Satin of Pro-wrestling Sheet also noted that if Hardy doesn’t re-sign with the company then his RAW appearance could be his last with the company.

It is to be noted that although Matt Hardy’s deal is up very soon, Jeff Hardy will have to wait a long time until he’s out of the company.

Jeff has been out of the company with an injury and then a series of legal problems that have kept him out of action. Therefore, the company has added more time to his contract and Jeff will have to fulfill his end of the deal before he can leave.

Do you think this could be the last time we see Matt Hardy in a WWE ring? Feel free to discuss in the comments and let us know!
