It looks like WWE may be looking to freshen up their programming once more and they may call a couple of NXT superstar to the main roster after the SummerSlam PPV.
According to several sources, WWE is expected to call up a number of superstars to Raw and SmackDown and speculation from Wrestling Observer is focusing on two.
The first is none other than the now former NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, who lost her title at the NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV last week.
It’s worth mentioning here that WWE is reportedly planning Horsewomen vs. Horsewomen feud for the Survivor Series PPV so Baszler’s call up would make a lot of sense.
The other name which is speculated to make his main roster debut soon is the former Impact Wrestling World Champion EC3 who made his WWE return earlier this year in January.
Though there is no word yet on when exactly these call-ups may take place and if there are any other stars expected to move from NXT, but we’ll keep you posted.
