Cris Cyborg Shows Up At WWE Show

The current Bellator Women’s Featherweight Champion Cris Cyborg is quite dominant inside the cage. She recently enjoyed the atmosphere of a wrestling show as she attended this week’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown that took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. Cyborg took to her Instagram account and dropped a couple of posts that confirmed her visit to SmackDown. Cyborg had previously posted a photo donning a swimsuit following  a victory.

She dropped a short video clip that she shot during the huge match between former best friends, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus. It saw McIntyre doing a kip-up during the match and hyping up the crowd in his support. She captioned:

“at least once in my career I need feel the energy from a walk down the runway into the wrestling ring”

While in another post, she shared few pictures of her and tagged WWE on Instagram. She seemingly had a great time on the blue brand.

This week’s edition of SmackDown saw the Scottish Warrior defeat Sheamus via pinfall after a Claymore Kick. Before the match, McIntyre confronted Adam Pearce and stuck Angela in his desk in response to being left out of the Black Friday Battle Royal two weeks ago.

While Sami Zayn kicked off the show, who was on a wheelchair due to Brock Lesnar’s brutal assault on him last week. Paul Heyman had interrupted and apologized to the fans for subjecting them to Zayn’s complaints. As the two continued their banter, Lesnar made his way to the ring to tease that Heyman may be on the verge of returning as his advocate. The Beast beat the male nurses, then Zayn, culminating with an F-5.

With WWE building to the Day 1 pay-per-view, RAW Tag Team Champions Randy Orton and Riddle battled The Usos and New Day’s King Woods and Kofi Kingston in a blockbuster triple threat tag match, with New Day coming out on top pinning The Usos. In another hotly anticipated fight, Naomi and Sonya Deville exchanged hostilities once again on Friday night, so did SmackDown women’s champion Charlotte Flair and Toni Storm.
