The upcoming pay-per-view Survivor Series will see Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy defend the title against Mustafa Ali. This would mark Murphy’s first title defence after winning the belt from Cedric Alexander in his hometown of Melbourne at the Super Show Down last month.
Both the competitors took to Twitter for their response to the announcement. While Murphy retweeted WWE’s official tweet, Ali commented: WE are ready

Mustafa Ali earned the title shot after a victory over Tony Nese in the last week’s episode of 205 Live. Buddy Murphy and Mustafa Ali are known to have great chemistry in the ring and have often produced stellar matches.
The No Disqualification bout between the two on July 3, 2018, was proclaimed as the greatest match in 205 Live history as per the WWE.
The Survivor Series card looks to shape up with this announcement after already having announced multiple Champion vs. Champion matches for the event.
Survivor Series is scheduled to take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on November 18.
