Current plans for WrestleMania 34 main event

In between Braun Strowman’s recent injury and the continuous negative fan reaction for Roman Reigns, enough has been said about the plans for Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34.

However, after multiple rumours of WWE re-considering their plans for the Beast at WrestleMania, it appears that everything is back to square one.

Dave Meltzer revealed on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE is once again planning Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for the Show Of Shows next year.

While it wasn’t mentioned if the match will still involve the Universal title as originally planned after WrestleMania 33, it appears to be the most likely scenario.

It was also noted how WWE started planting seeds for a John Cena vs Roman Reigns match on Raw this week, and while not confirmed yet it appears we’ll get to see it happening before Mania next year.
